A slow drive

Lost Roads

Somewhere between the hills and the sea, the road keeps going. Pick up hitchhikers for a bit of money, buy jerry cans, and keep an eye on the fuel: the stations are far apart, and some have shut for good. Run dry with nothing in the boot and the journey's over.
